OATI to Share Distributed Generation Insight at Premiere US Energy Storage Summit

Leading Smart Grid solutions expert to pair with fellow leader EnSync Energy Systems to present vision and expertise at industry-shaping event.

Minneapolis, MN: December 01, 2015 – Open Access Technology International, Inc. (OATI) is pleased to announce an engagement to share its pioneering vision at the premier 2015 US Energy Storage Summit, on December 08-09, 2015 in San Francisco, California. Dr. Ali Ipakchi, Vice President Smart Grid & Green Power at OATI, also has the honor of presenting in conjunction with Dan Nordloh, Executive Vice President at EnSync Energy Systems (EnSync), during the session “Distributed Generation: In Parallel with or Disconnected from the Grid, Today’s Energy Management Delivers Lower Cost & Resiliency.” This extraordinary opportunity also allows these experts to be among more than 60 industry leaders scheduled to speak.

This session will offer insight into business strategies and opportunities in the energy storage market. Both OATI and EnSync will discuss groundbreaking implementations at the OATI South Campus, including how they seek to integrate EnSync’s Matrix Energy Management technology into the OATI Microgrid.

“EnSync is excited to present our industry-shaping collaborative project with OATI at the US Energy Storage Summit,” said Brad Hansen, CEO and President of EnSync Energy Systems. “We’ll feature OATI’s new installation that incorporates the Matrix Energy Management system, allowing OATI the flexibility to integrate different combinations of renewable generation and hybrid energy storage into the building microgrid. The project will demonstrate the Matrix platform flexibility and extendibility that is unique in the industry for behind the meter and microgrid applications.”

By addressing the current industry needs and applying practical and forward-thinking implementations, OATI and EnSync are taking an unprecedented look at Microgrid application and innovation.

OATI is thrilled to speak alongside Dan Nordloh of EnSync, and that both OATI and EnSync will have the opportunity to give tangible evidence through our leadership and experience to the ever-growing industry,” said Dr. Sasan Mokhtari, President and CEO of OATI, “We have no doubt the session will offer thought-provoking evidence that will change the way individuals think about Energy Storage.”
