In an article for the May/June 2016 edition of Electric Energy T&D Magazine, OATI employees Erik Amundson and David Heim shared how OATI is leading the way in grid modernization by developing solutions that not only make the power grid smarter, but more secure. In the article, Erik and David contend that the ability to securely connect intelligent devices while maintaining a high-level of data security is critical to achieving a successful Smart Grid. The only way to do this, they attest, is by using “super devices.”
