    To meet the federal mandate under FERC Order 881, CAISO needed to transition from static line ratings to Ambient-Adjusted Ratings (AAR), applying them in real-time and market functions without overloading systems.
    Solution
    CAISO defined a three-track AAR deployment strategy across real-time, look-ahead, and market operations. The solution processes hourly ratings data for all flowgates, improving grid efficiency while meeting regulatory timelines.

  3. Unlocking hidden capacity and new markets for SRP
